Intelpack, the flagship exhibition of Intel Trade Fairs & Expositions Pvt. Ltd., was first organised in 1990. Intelpack-1990 was a phenomenal success that saw 8396 visitors turn-up from all over India to witness the dazzling display made by 87 exhibitors.
Intelpack, since then, has grown from 87 exhibitors in 1990 to 272 in 2010 and from 8396 trade visitors in 1990 to 12,718 trade visitors in 2010.
The co-location of Foodtek with Intelpack in 1993, added to the synergy and lustre of the show. Pharmapack, India’s only exhibition pharmaceutical packaging, was added to the existing profile.
Today, Intelpack together with Foodtek and Pharmapack make the powerful platform for the packaging industry in India. |

Intelpack-2010, India's Biggest-Ever packaging exhibition was a huge success and re-asserted its' position as India's No.1 exhibition for the packaging industry.
272 exhibitor and 12,718 high quality business visitors from across 11countries walked the show in 4 days.
Organised by Intel Trade Fairs & Expositions Pvt. Ltd., Intelpack-2010 co-located with Foodtek-2010 and Pharmapack-2010 was organised at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, India from 10-13 March 2010.
Business worth over 75 crore rupees was closed in 4 days at the show. The exhibition not only generated spot business and but also generated high quality marketing leads for the exhibitors.
The 12,718 buyers came from from all over India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and several countries of East and West Africa. The exhibition attracted a very large percentage of active buyers who finalised their orders at the show.
One of the most unique feature of the Intelpack-2010 was the very high quality of the business visitor. Of the total number of trade visitors, as high as 64% constituted senior management and the balance from Middle management and people who voice the buying requirements in a company.
On show was the cutting-edge technology in packaging – primary, secondary and tertiary. The show had everything the visitors looked for, be it machines, materials, products or packaging services. It was evident from the positive response from visitors to the show as they found their visit to Intelpack-2010 very rewarding and a good investment of their time. Many visitors came with the intention of closing business deals.
Intelpack-2010 was all about new product launches, re-positioning of existing products, spot offers and of gathering quality marketing leads.
Initial interviews and chat with exhibitors shows that an absolute majority of participating companies were highly satisfied with the results of the exhibition. They praised the high quality of the trade visitors and stated that they had made a large number of first time business contacts with visitors from new industry sectors.
Speaking on the success of the Intelpack-2010, Mr. Aditya Ashok, Head – Marketing & Sales, Intel Trade Fairs & Expositions Pvt. Ltd., said, “I am delighted with the response the show generated. Our promotion for visitors was very strong designed with the intention in getting high quality business visitors to the show. I am happy we have been successful in delivering high quality visitors for our very high quality exhibitors.
Aditya further opined, As the biggest packaging exhibition in India, our prerequisite was to get every active packaging companies to exhibit at the Intelpack-2010.

Intelpack-2012 will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, India from 16-18 February 2012. Most exhibitors at the 2010 exhibition have blocked space to exhibit at the Intelpack-2012. |
