PrintExpo 2017 : A Spectacular Success

The 9th Edition of PrintExpo was an astounding success. PrintExpo 2017, region's biggest and most successful print exhibition was a huge success. The show has once again re-asserted it's position as one of India's most important business exhibitions for the print industry.

193 Companies, comprising of 136 direct exhibitors and 57 indirect exhibitors showcased the latest and most advanced technology in technology in print at the PrintExpo 2017. The show attracted 13,630+ trade visitors consisting of printers, converters and print buyers. The 3-day exhibition was organised organised on a floor space of over 50,000 sq. ft. of the Centre, Chennai, India from 18-20 August 2017.

The 13,630+ buyers and decision makers comprising of press owners, color lab owners, print show managers, production managers, brand managers, conver ters, packaging professionals, came from all over South India that includes, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra, Telangana and from Maharashtra, Orissa, Gujarat, West Bengal. Overseas visitors mainly came from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE and a few from Africa. The show attracted a very large number of visitors in active buying mode, who finalised their orders at the show.

As high as 94% of the exhibitors were extremely satisfied with the response the PrintExpo 2017 generated. They opined that the right profile of attendees at the show generated spot business and hundreds of quality leads for them. Exhibitors were able to reach their most important target groups very effectively at PrintExpo 2017. The quality of visitors was rated as "Excellent" by most exhibitors surveyed and they opined that the show presented ideal opportunities for exhibitors to address their intended target groups.

pre-press techniques and software, consumables etc. The visitors to the show were also very happy with the dazzling display of cutting-edge technology and felt it was time well invested in attending the PrintExpo 2017.

Organised by Intel Trade Fairs & Expositions Pvt. Ltd., exhibitors at PrintExpo 2017 is expected to generate business worth over 150 crores and almost every exhibitor gathered numerous quality leads and contact. The exhibition also generated spot business and several exhibitors mentioned that they closed good number of orders at PrintExpo 2017.

The highlight of this year's edition of PrintExpo was the large number of high profile business visitors and the world-class exhibitors. While stateof-art print technology was on show, the enthusiasm of the visitors was very vibrant. PrintExpo 2017 strongly announced the revival of the printing industry in India where the growth and prospects were on the wane in the last few months.

An absolute treat for an organisers eyes, the exhibition hall was abuzz with hectic business activities all 3days of PrintExpo 2017. Trade visitors came in large numbers very early in the morning and many times during the 3 days there were long queues of trade visitors waiting to register and enter the exhibition hall. It's a dream of every exhibition organiser in the world. PrintExpo 2017 was an extremely busy show and I am exhilarated with the response the show generated.

The quality of attendees this year was remarkably very good and many exhibitors closed spot business at the show, while others gathered quality business leads and contacts.
