PrintExpo Emerges as the Best Business Platform for Printing Industry

The sheer magic of PrintExpo was at work once again at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, India with the PrintExpo 2011 breaking all records by attracting over 12,000 printing and converting professionals.

PrintExpo 2011 organised at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, India from 10-12 June 2011 once again lived up to its promise of being the best business exhibition for the printing and converting industry in India. The show attracted over 12,000 trade visitors and generated On Spot Business and plentiful sales leads for 154 exhibitors representing over 225 companies.

Organised by Intel Trade Fairs & Expositions Pvt. Ltd., India's leading organizers of Business-to-Business exhibitions, PrintExpo has now emerged as one of the best business exhibitions in India.

PrintExpo 2011 was promoted for visitors through various media in India and overseas. The Technology Presentation Meets organised in 9 cities including one in Colombo, Sri Lanka was a huge success. While majority of the trade visitors at PrintExpo 2011 came from South India, the show this edition also attracted large number of trade visitors from other parts of India. Visitors to the PrintExpo from India came from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala, West Bengal, Orissa, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi, Punjab. International visitors came from Sri Lanka, Nairobi, Tanzania, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Nigeria etc. The exhibition attracted a very large percentage of trade visitors in active buying mode and many of whom finalised their orders at the show, making PrintExpo one of the most important marketing event for the printing industry in India.

154 exhibitors representing over 200 companies and 12,000+ trade visitors ensured a successful PrintExpo 2011.

Building on the success of the 2009 and 2010 editions, PrintExpo 2011 organised in Hall 2 & Hall 3 was about 35% bigger than the last edition with the exhibition featuring several first time exhibitors. PrintExpo has positioned itself as The Total Print Exhibition covering every sector of the printing industry. The exhibitors included all the big names representing the printing industry, be it offset printing, digital printing, label printing, screen printing, wide format digital flex printing, print finishing, packaging and converting.

PrintExpo 2010 was all about new product launches, creating brand awareness and most importantly companies trying to get a foothold in the most lucrative

and fastest growing print markets of South India and the region. Several exhibitors, such as, Autoprint Machinery Manufacturers, Xerox India, Canon India, Redlands, Konica Minolta, Grafica Flextronica, Bobst, C&T Matrix, HCL, Line-O-Matic, Proteck Machiney, Condot Systems, Monotech and several other exhibitors used PrintExpo 2011 with great effect to launch their machines and products in the region.



Visitors Happy with the Technology Showcase
The dazzling display of print media technology and the live demonstrations of all machinery, equipment and systems at the show was a matter of great joy for the visitors who came to the show. Visitors were extremely delighted with the range of exhibits and the number of exhibitors. PrintExpo, the total print exhibition, had something of interest for every visitor. Several visitors from South India opined that they were very happy with the performance of PrintExpo 2011 as they got a chance to see the cutting-edge technology in printing in their own back yard with having to travel far distances to see a similar show.

Most visitors came to the PrintExpo 2011 with buying decision. The exhibitors were greatly benefited by the presence of such large number of buyers as they were able to finalise several orders at the show.

Many, who had visited the 2009 and 2010 editions were pleased that the show has grown bigger with more exhibitors and quality exhibits. All of them felt that PrintExpo was here to stay and will grow manifold in the coming years and they promised to come back again in 2012.

South India Printers Meet 2011



The2nd Edition of South India Printers Meet (SIPM 2011) was organized on 11th June 2011 at the Convention Centre, Chennai Trade Centre. This was Concurrently held with the PrintExpo 2011 exhibition.

172 delegates attended the first SIPM 2011 and was Chaired by Prof. Rajendra Kumar Anayath , Head – Print Media Academy, Heidelberg India Limited and techno-commercial presentations by prominent industry experts. The South India Printers Meet 2010 was a landmark event.

The 3rd South India Printers Meet will be organised on 11th June 2012 at the Convention Centre, Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, India

PrintExpo 2012 will be co-located with ConvertingExpo 2012 and Labeltech 2012 and will held at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, India from 22-24 June 2012.
